How to Plan a Senior Move: A Simple Timeline

1. 6–8 weeks before: Get a written estimate, confirm the move date with your new community or landlord, and start sorting the biggest rooms.
2. 4–6 weeks before: Decide what goes to family, what is donated and what is removed. Arrange storage if the new home will not be ready.
3. 2–4 weeks before: Schedule packing, notify utilities and the post office, and gather important papers, medications and valuables to carry with you.
4. The week before: Confirm move-day logistics, parking and elevator reservations, and finish packing your essentials bag.
5. Move day: Our crew arrives on time, protects floors and doorways, loads, moves and places furniture where you want it.
6. After the move: We unpack, set up, hang art, remove packing materials and make your bed. Walk through with us and tell us what to adjust.

What Affects the Cost of a Senior Move

Every move is quoted individually, and we always review the details with you first. The factors that most affect the price are:

• The amount of furniture and belongings being moved
